Fit & Have Fun" |
Once
again, it has been an extremely busy year for the Physical Education Department
here at St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School. There are a number
of exciting activities that are taking place here in the Physical Education
Department this year. The Physical Education Department is excited about
our new course next year PAF-401 Superfit. This course is a follow up
to our Grade 11 Superfit course.

| Finally
on a personal note I would like to thank each and every staff member who
is involved in the Co-Instructional program this year at St. Thomas More
Catholic Secondary School. Your time and dedication to Athletics and School
Clubs is greatly valued and remembered.

In
Athletics during the winter season, we wish to congratulate the Senior
Boys Basketball Team for winning the GHAC Championship and advancing to
the AAAA OFSAA Boys Basketball Championships where the school earned their
first Silver Medal in 37 year. What a great accomplishment it was. The
team almost can away with the Gold Medal.

Secondly,
I would also like to extend my congratulations to the Senior Girls Volleyball
Team for winning the City and going undefeated throughout the entire league.
Congratulations
to the swim team for another championship. They continue to win City Championships
year after year.

I want to wish all spring sports teams good luck in their
quest for City, Ghac and OFSAA Championships. |
This year the Athletic Banquet is going to take place on
Thursday June 10, 2010. We look forward to an exciting evening. |
| On a special note we would like to extend our
congratulations to the senior basketball coaches Mr. Giovannangeli, Mr.
D’Angela and Mr. Rosati and to our swim coaches Ms. Dyment, Ms. Whalen
and Ms. Sullivan. Lastly, we wish to congratulate the senior girls volleyball
coaches Mr. Nobes and Ms. Bonitatibus on their championships. |
